About the Role\n

\n A well-established and fast-growing accountancy firm in Leeds is looking for an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join its dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified auditor to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors.\n
\n

The Role
\n
\n
    \n
  • Planning, co-ordinating and completing audit assignments and accounts work
    • \n
  • Liasing with those responsible for the preparation of accounts, providing them with the information required where we are liaising with the client on their behalf
    • \n
  • Ensuring work is completed to meet external deadlines from client and regulatory authorities and internal deadlines
    • \n
  • Ensuring full completion of audit or account files for the Managers review is done in an appropriate timescale and within budget
    • \n
  • Identifying business issues relevant to the clients and ensuring those are brought to the attention of the appropriate Manager / Partner, or directly to the attention of the client
    • \n
  • Identifying the needs of clients and actively developing business opportunities
    • \n

The Candidate

    \n
  • ACA / ACCA qualified
    • \n
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
    • \n
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
    • \n
  • A team player and willing to assist colleagues in the team where possible
    • \n
  • Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure
    • \n
  • Able to use initiative and have great organisation / problem solving skills
    • \n
