Employment Law Partner
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne
Salary: 95000 to 140000
Experience: Partner level (salary partner with a modest client following)

What Youll Be Doing
You will take a lead role in growing the Employment offering in Newcastle-upon-Tyne with the autonomy and trust to make decisions and drive outcomes.
Key parts of the role will include:
- Advising employers on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Leading on Employment Tribunal strategy and litigation where required
- Supporting corporate and commercial teams with employment aspects of transactions and wider business advisory work
- Building and strengthening client relationships with meaningful influence over service delivery
- Playing an active role in shaping team direction business development activity and the wider growth strategy
- Mentoring and developing colleagues helping to build a high-performing quality-led culture
What Were Looking For
Were looking for a Partner who combines strong technical ability with commercial instinct and a people-first approach.
Youll ideally bring:
- Partner level experience in Employment law (or a Senior Associate or Legal Director ready for partnership)
- A modest client following or a clear and credible plan to build one quickly
- Strong experience advising businesses with the confidence to lead client relationships
- A practical solutions-led style with a focus on clarity efficiency and high quality outcomes
- The ability to work independently while enjoying a collaborative supportive environment
