Job description
CNC Machine Setter / Operator (Milling) Location: Bolton Salary: Up to £22.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Early finish at 1:00pm every Friday Our client, a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Bolton, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machine Setter / Operator (Milling) to join their skilled production team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business offering competitive pay, a great working environment, and an early finish every Friday. The Role This is a CNC milling position, working with Bridgeport milling machines and 5-axis CNC machining centres to manufacture high-quality precision components. Key Responsibilities * Set and operate Bridgeport CNC milling machines. * Set and operate 5-axis CNC machining centres. * Read and interpret engineering drawings. * Produce precision components to tight tolerances. * Carry out in-process quality inspections using measuring equipment. * Ensure machines are running safely and efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organised working environment. * Work closely with colleagues to meet production schedules and quality standards.
