The Montefiore Hospital is offering an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Theatre professional to join our team as Deputy Theatre Manager. This role is ideally suited to a dynamic and motivated individual who leads by example and is passionate about developing a busy high-performing team.The Montefiore Hospital is a premium provider of private healthcare in Hove- East Sussex. We practice some of the most advanced treatments with the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening rehabilitation and cutting-edge surgical procedures across a variety of specialist treatments which are all delivered through our expert and caring clinical teams.
Duties and responsibilities
The Deputy Theatre Manager will monitor and assist in the delivery of patient care and provide appropriate clinical and managerial leadership throughout the department. You will act as a role model and mentor to clinical staff providing advice and support to others to promote good practice consistent with legislation and Spire Healthcares policies. You will have the support of the theatre coordinator and your team leads and an experienced hospital senior leadership team. The Deputy Theatre Manager will encourage develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self. You will ensure that Clinical Governance and Risk management are embedded within daily practice and promote effective controls to ensure the Departments Key Performance Indicator and financial targets are achieved to contribute to the hospital strategy business plan and growth.
