CNC Turner - Permanent & Contract available - Motorsport Weekday night shifts & Weekend day shifts available
We currently have a number ofCNC Turning roles available based inThatcham, Berkshire.
Were looking for experienced CNC Turners to join one of our most prestigious Motorsport clients, who are currently going through an exciting period of expansion.
You will be responsible for setting, operating and running CNC Turnersto produce transmission components. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of machine setup methodologies. You will be working on highly complex components, ensuring strict adherence to GD&T requirements.
Knowledge of general tool pathways & ISO Fanuc G-codes is essential, while experience with macros and probing programming would be advantageous.
Our client takes huge pride in the quality of our product, so youll be used to working to Quality Control procedures, adhering to, and documenting plans in accordance with these.
Ideally you will have completed a formal apprenticeship and have general engineering experience including turning and toolmaking. If you have experience within the automotive, aerospace or motorsport industries, this would be a huge advantage.
Youll be able to understand comprehensive engineering drawings and instructions, be able to visualise finished products and have a good understanding of the properties of the materials we work with.
Good levels of concentration are a must, as are being able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team. Were looking for individuals with a self-sufficient attitude, good work ethic and the desire to always improve.
The roles we have available are on nights Monday to Thursday, and wealso have the Friday to Sunday weekend day shift.
Weekends = Friday Sunday: 06:00 18:30
Nights = Monday Thursday: 19:00 06:00
