Job description
Job Title Patient Access Manager Location Harborne Hospital, Birmingham Employment Details Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Permanent position. Overview We’re looking for a Patient Access Manager to join our team at Harborne Hospital. This role is integral to the UKs largest private healthcare provider, playing a key part in growth and expansion. Responsibilities * Facilitate the patient access experience by providing a world‑class service to patients through a seamless journey and high‑level customer care at all times. * Oversee and manage the Facility Revenue Cycle, ensuring maximum revenue capture. * Recruit, appraise and develop Patient Access Leaders within each team. * Partner with the Facility Senior Management Team to develop and implement strategies. * Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory procedures, including audit requirements. * Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all hospital procedures and policies related to Patient Access and communicate changes to teams. * Build, maintain and develop effective relationships with all service users. * Monitor, control and manage expenditure and contribute to the department’s annual budget. Qualifications * Management and administration experience, ideally within a healthcare setting. * Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, including empathy, persuasion and influence. * Professional conduct, reliability, strong work ethic and appropriate workplace etiquette. * Strong problem‑solving ability and high emotional intelligence.
