Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale The Role A premier, high-achieving Secondary Academy in Oxford is seeking a professional, highly analytical, and exceptionally organised Mathematics Teacher to join their expanding STEM faculty. This role represents a brilliant opportunity to champion numerical literacy and advanced logical reasoning within a heavily resourced department featuring modern teaching spaces, interactive digital platforms, and advanced learning tools. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional leadership across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The timetable will involve delivering a rich, challenging curriculum covering pure calculus, algebraic modeling, statistical analysis, and geometric proofs for A-Level exam cohorts, alongside core numerical logic, quadratic functions, and trigonometry frameworks at GCSE. Beyond classroom teaching, responsibilities include constructing comprehensive student tracking portfolios, implementing targeted technical intervention tracks for mathematical fluency, managing parental correspondence, and actively leading the school’s competitive math leagues and regional logic tournaments. You will act as a primary link with parents, examination boards, and local university STEM networks, requiring absolute professionalism and data accuracy at all times. Strong organisational skills are a prerequisite, as you will balance heavy mock diagnostic marking cycles with real-time digital progress logging within a fast-paced school framework.
