Religious Studies Teacher - Secondary School - Leicester (September Start) Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • Religious Studies Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE Religious Studies (KS3/4) • Leicester • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full Time Religious Studies Teacher Religious Studies Teacher You would be joining a well-established Humanities department where Religious Studies plays an important role in helping students develop critical thinking, cultural awareness and an understanding of different beliefs and perspectives. The department delivers an engaging curriculum that encourages respectful discussion, independent enquiry and thoughtful debate. Students explore a range of world religions, philosophy and ethical issues through lessons that challenge them to think critically and express their ideas confidently. The curriculum develops strong analytical and evaluative skills while preparing students thoroughly for GCSE examinations. Teachers work collaboratively to create engaging lessons that connect classroom learning with contemporary issues. The department also organises visits to places of worship, guest speakers, debate competitions and enrichment activities that broaden students' understanding of different faiths and cultures.
