Hybrid – 3 days onsite | 2 days remote |5-Month Contract | Warwickshire
VIQU is seeking an experienced Senior Hybrid Platform Engineer / Technical Lead to join a major enterprise customer based in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the evolution of a complex hybrid platform environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure (approximately 75%) supported by on-premises infrastructure (approximately 25%).
We're looking for a technically hands-on engineer who can drive platform transformation, lead infrastructure change, and support business-critical production environments. This role requires strong Azure expertise alongside solid VMware and on-prem infrastructure experience, with Terraform playing a key role in platform automation.
As the technical lead for platform engineering initiatives, you will own technical design decisions from concept through to implementation. You'll play a key role in modernising enterprise infrastructure, supporting Azure platform transformation, and ensuring services remain secure, resilient and highly available.
Microsoft Azure, Terraform, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure Networking, Azure Landing Zones, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Hybrid Cloud, Infrastructure as Code, AWS (desirable).
