\n Make a Lasting Difference to Children and Families Service Care Solutions is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire East Council for a dedicated Family Service Worker to join their Children's Services team.\n

\n The Role As a Family Service Worker, you will:\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • Deliver evidence-based programmes and interventions to children, young people and families.
  • \n
  • Complete holistic assessments and develop tailored support plans based on individual family needs.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with Children's Services and partner agencies to provide coordinated early help.
  • \n
  • Support families through one-to-one interventions, home visits and group-based programmes.
  • \n
  • Monitor, review and evaluate interventions to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records, reports and risk assessments.
  • \n
  • Listen to the views of children, young people and families, ensuring their voices shape support plans.
  • \n
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately in line with statutory guidance.
  • \n
  • Prioritise support for vulnerable children and families, including those who may be harder to engage.
  • \n
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through effective performance monitoring and reflective practice.
  • \n
About You We're looking for someone who has:\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.
  • \n
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • \n
  • Experience supporting children, young people, parents and carers.
  • \n
  • Experience delivering family support through one-to-one work, home visits or group programmes.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, child development and early intervention.
  • \n
  • Experience working alongside multi-agency professionals.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
  • \n
  • Strong report writing and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • \n
  • The ability to remain calm and resilient when working with complex family situations.
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • \n
