We're recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a friendly primary school where you'll help children overcome barriers to learning, grow in confidence and celebrate success every day.

About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll become an important part of the classroom team, supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally.
You'll:
- Support classroom learning
- Deliver small group interventions
- Encourage positive behaviour
- Build confidence and independence
- Support pupils who need additional encouragement
- Help create engaging learning experiences
- Celebrate children's achievements every step of the way
What Experience Are We Looking For?
Experience working with children is essential, but it doesn't need to have been in a school.
We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates with backgrounds in:
- Care work
- Nurseries
- Childcare
- Youth work
- Coaching
- Play work
- Residential support
- Family services
- Community projects
Your transferable skills could make you an excellent Teaching Assistant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
