We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for UK-based investment banking professionals experienced in mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, valuation, transaction execution, due diligence, and strategic corporate finance analysis. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on complex M&A scenarios, company and industry analysis, valuation review, deal-process evaluation, and high-quality financial assessment workflows. Selected professionals will apply their transaction experience to develop and review realistic banking scenarios, assess financial outputs, evaluate strategic alternatives, and translate complex deal information into clear, commercially grounded conclusions. Key Responsibilities M&A Transaction Analysis Analyze complex merger, acquisition, divestiture, and strategic transaction scenarios Evaluate transaction rationale, deal structure, process considerations, and potential execution risks Assess strategic buyers, financial sponsors, public companies, and other transaction counterparties Review proposed recommendations for commercial logic, analytical quality, and alignment with transaction objectives Financial Modeling & Valuation Build, review, and interpret financial models used in M&A and corporate finance workflows Evaluate discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transaction, and other valuation analyses Review assumptions involving revenue growth, margins, capital structure, synergies, and transaction financing Identify inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, and sensitivities that may materially affect valuation conclusions Due Diligence & Deal Execution Review financial statements, company materials, industry research, and transaction documentation Assess due diligence findings and identify key commercial, financial, and execution considerations Evaluate deal-process materials, transaction timelines, bidder dynamics, and decision points Support the development and review of realistic transaction-execution scenarios Banking Materials & Strategic Communication Create and evaluate pitch books, company profiles, valuation summaries, and transaction materials Review investment committee, board, management, and client-facing presentations Translate complex financial information into concise, decision-relevant recommendations Ensure banking materials demonstrate strong analytical judgment, accuracy, and professional presentation quality Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have: Professional experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, or transaction advisory Hands-on involvement in live M&A transactions or strategic corporate finance assignments Strong financial modeling, valuation, company analysis, and transaction execution skills Experience interpreting financial statements and assessing complex deal-related information Familiarity with due diligence, pitch development, process management, and senior-level transaction materials Strong written communication and the ability to explain financial judgments clearly Availability to contribute up to 40 hours per week depending on project scope Current residence and right to work in the United Kingdom Educational Background A degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, or a related analytical field is helpful Professional experience at a leading global investment bank, corporate finance advisory firm, or transaction-focused institution is highly relevant Qualifications such as ACA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent financial training may be valuable Equivalent hands-on experience supporting complex M&A and capital-markets transactions is also highly relevant Nice to Have Experience within a leading global investment bank or established M&A advisory practice Exposure to strategic buyer, private equity sponsor, or public-company transactions Experience across buy-side, sell-side, carve-out, merger, or divestiture processes Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and PowerPoint-based transaction materials Familiarity with leveraged buyout analysis, accretion and dilution modeling, or transaction financing Experience preparing board materials, fairness-related analysis, or investment committee presentations Previous involvement in structured financial review, benchmarking, or expert evaluation workflows Why This Opportunity Apply advanced investment banking and M&A expertise to structured remote consulting work Contribute to high-quality transaction analysis, valuation, and financial evaluation workflows Work on complex scenarios aligned with deal execution, due diligence, and strategic advisory strengths Use your ability to interpret financial information and produce clear, commercially grounded recommendations Participate in flexible assignments with highly competitive hourly compensation Contract Details Independent contractor role Fully remote with flexible scheduling Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the United Kingdom Availability of up to 40 hours per week depending on project requirements Competitive rates between $175–$225 per hour depending on expertise and project scope Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise The selection process may include a resume and work-history review followed by a brief technical interview Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution About the Platform This opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
