\n Are you an experienced Production or Packing Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in manufacturing?\n
\n
\n We're recruiting for a Packing Hall Supervisor to join a leading manufacturer of vitamins, minerals and nutritional supplements at their modern Bridlington facility.\n
\n
\n Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the Packing Hall, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coach and develop your team, monitor performance and drive a culture of continuous improvement.\n
\n
\n
Key responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Packing Hall team.

    • \n
  • Allocate labour across production lines to maximise efficiency.

    • \n
  • Ensure products are packed right first time and to customer specifications.

    • \n
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, GMP and hygiene.

    • \n
  • Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers.

    • \n
  • Complete production documentation accurately.

    • \n
  • Support training, inductions, appraisals and performance management.

    • \n
  • Work closely with Planning, Technical and Production teams to deliver daily targets.

    • \n
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

\n
About you\n
    \n
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within manufacturing.

    • \n
  • FMCG, food manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience is desirable.

    • \n
  • Strong people management and communication skills.

    • \n
  • Organised with good IT skills and attention to detail.

    • \n
  • Passionate about developing people and driving performance.
    • \n
\n
