About School of Coding & AI

School of Coding & AI is a UK-based education group delivering higher education courses, digital skills, coding and AI training across all levels. As we expand across the UK and internationally, we are building a high-performing team to shape the future of technology education.

We have partnered with the University of Wolverhampton and Harper Adams University to launch our first Higher Education Institute. Our goal is simple: deliver high-quality, career-focused education that gives learners a genuine edge.

We are a growing, ambitious organisation. We value people who are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where new ideas are encouraged.

About the Role

This is a key role within our Higher Education Student Finance team. You will be responsible for supporting students with all aspects of their financial journey, ensuring they receive accurate advice and guidance on tuition fees, payment options, student funding, and financial policies throughout their studies.

You will act as the first point of contact for student finance enquiries, supporting students while working closely with Admissions, Registry, Compliance, and Academic teams to deliver an excellent student experience.

This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate student finance records, supporting fee collection processes, improving financial operations, and ensuring students are able to access the support they need to successfully continue their studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for student finance enquiries, providing clear advice on tuition fees, payment options, instalment plans, and financial policies.
  • Support students with tuition fee payments, outstanding balances, refunds, sponsorships, and general finance-related queries.
  • Assist students in understanding available funding options, including Student Finance England and other financial support where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate student financial records using internal systems and ensure all data is recorded correctly.
  • Monitor student accounts, identify outstanding balances, and support timely fee collection.
  • Process payments, refunds, adjustments, and financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work closely with Admissions, Registry, Compliance, and Academic teams to ensure student records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Produce reports using Excel and internal systems to monitor student accounts, outstanding fees, and finance activity.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional financial policies, GDPR, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support enrollment and registration periods by providing finance guidance to new and continuing students.
  • Respond promptly to student enquiries via email, telephone, and face-to-face appointments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of student finance processes and services as the organisation continues to grow.

  • Experience using CRM, finance, or student management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable

  • Experience working within Higher Education or Further Education.
  • Knowledge of Student Finance England processes and tuition fee funding.
  • Experience supporting students with financial enquiries.
  • Understanding of SITS or other student records systems.

  • Students receive timely, accurate, and professional financial advice.
  • Student finance records are maintained accurately across all systems.
  • Tuition fee payments and financial transactions are processed efficiently.
  • Strong student satisfaction through excellent customer service.
