History Teacher - Secondary School - Ipswich (September Start) Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • History Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level History (KS3/4/5) • Ipswich • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full Time History Teacher History Teacher You would be joining a well-established Humanities department where History is a highly regarded subject with excellent outcomes across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The department is committed to developing curious, analytical students who enjoy exploring the events, people and ideas that have shaped the modern world. Students study a broad and engaging curriculum covering British, European and international history, developing their source analysis, essay writing and critical thinking skills throughout their time at the school. Lessons encourage debate, enquiry and independent research while preparing students thoroughly for GCSE and A-Level examinations. The department enhances learning through educational visits to museums and historical sites, guest speakers, debating competitions and enrichment activities that allow students to explore history beyond the classroom. Teachers work collaboratively to produce high-quality resources and regularly share best practice, creating an ambitious and engaging curriculum.
