The Role The successful candidate will: Teach French across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills Prepare pupils for GCSE and A Level examinations Foster enthusiasm for French language, literature and culture Encourage confidence in communication and the practical application of language skills Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as language clubs, cultural events, educational visits and exchange programmes Support students with university applications, including those pursuing languages, international studies and related disciplines Play an active role in the wider academic and pastoral life of the school Independent school life extends beyond the classroom, and the French Teacher will be expected to contribute fully to co-curricular and enrichment programmes.
