The timetable will involve delivering core general science frameworks across Key Stage 3, alongside delivering a rich, challenging specialist curriculum covering advanced chemical pathways, quantitative physics energetics, or biological systems for GCSE and A-Level exam cohorts. Beyond classroom teaching, responsibilities include constructing comprehensive student tracking portfolios, implementing targeted technical intervention tracks for mathematical data fluency within calculations, managing laboratory asset logs, and supporting the school's regional science Olympiads and medicine-pathway societies. You will act as a primary link with parents, examination boards, and local university science networks, requiring absolute professionalism and data accuracy at all times. Strong organisational skills are a prerequisite, as you will balance heavy mock diagnostic marking cycles with real-time digital progress logging and strict laboratory health and safety compliance tracking (CLEAPSS frameworks).
