Job description
Overview Join the RAC as a SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic. Flexibility deserves recognition – and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on. What you’ll get * Competitive salary:£50,669 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £57,000 * Weekly variety: You’ll work on average 40 hours per week across the year, with your roster seven days in advance and core working hours confirmed three days prior. * Thrive outside of 9-5: Shifts will fall between 06:00 and 02:00, and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Where you’ll work You’ll be part of the Oxford cluster, covering areas like Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, Witney, Bicester, Thame. We organise work locally so you can start and finish at home, focusing your day on getting members back on the road in your local area. What you’ll need * A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience * A customer-focused approach * A full UK driving licence * Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary This role is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to supporting our members when they need it most.
