Westmorland Veterinary Group is a thriving two-site practice with separate farm and small animal teams. Our team has a variety of experience, from student nurses and new graduate vets to those with over 30 years of experience. We have certificate holders, including an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, and further qualifications and training are encouraged here. Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Westmorland Vets on a part-time basis. How You’ll Make a Difference As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. Working Pattern * 24 hours per week * Working Monday to Friday on a rota basis * 1 in 7 weekends included within weekly hours * No out of hours duties General Responsibilities * Nurse consults * Theatre work * Monitoring anaesthesia * Lab work * Diagnostic imaging You Might Be a Great Fit If... We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care.
