An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will join a busy and growing Private Client team, supporting solicitors across a broad range of matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Probate, Estate Administration, and related private client work.
The Role
This is a full-time, office-based position offering exposure to high-quality private client work.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and progressing a small caseload under supervision, with scope for increased responsibility over time
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence and supporting documentation
- Gathering, reviewing and analysing client information and documentation.
- Conducting legal and factual research as required
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and other third parties
- Maintaining accurate file records and updating case management systems
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants should have:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience within a Private Client, Wills & Probate
- Previous experience supporting matters relating to Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and LPAs
- Strong legal document drafting and document review skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Experience using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
- A professional, compassionate and client-focused approach
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters appropriately
A law degree, CILEx qualification, or relevant paralegal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with suitable experience.
