Job description
Do you want an opportunity to work with some of the worlds biggest brands and most exciting start-ups to help them deliver better data and AI products and services? Consortia specialises in matching top talent with roles that clients struggle to fill directly or through other non-specialist agencies, and were expanding our contract recruitment team to meet growing demand. This role is open to both those with and without recruitment experience as were rebuilding our UK and European teams and will need to make multiple hires at all levels. We dont believe in limiting you to a city or region and would prefer you follow where the work is, and with clients across the UK and Europe, the opportunities are massive. Benefits * 26 days holiday + bank holidays * Private GP appointments for you (and your family) by phone or video * Quarterly socials and mental health days - from escape rooms to sea fishing, we take time out to unwind together * Discounts on everything from flights to high street shopping and gym memberships * Industry-renowned incentives, including celebrations, top-notch lunches, and overseas trips What does the job entail? * Sales and Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our existing clients, developing a pipeline of potential projects for candidates. * Candidate Sourcing:Use various methods to identify and attract candidates, including LinkedIn, our in-house AI tools, social media, networking events, and referrals. * Client Interaction:Build and maintain client relationships, understand their needs and pain points, and provide suitable candidate matches. * Market Research:Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions, and join the face-to-face events we host. What do I need to have done? Recruitment or Sales experience, not necessarily direct selling or phone-based sales. Previous experience in any form of sales or up-selling is beneficial, including direct sales, promoting events, or even affiliate marketing. Where do I work? Post-Covid, we wanted an office where coming together was somewhere wed want to go, so weve been based at the award-winning Desklodge House for the last three years, just a 5-minute walk from Temple Meads. Our office itself is in a corner location with loads of natural light and top-tech equipment with dual screens as standard. In the building there are weekly events, fresh fruit, proper coffee machines, snacks, and a host of community events. This is a hybrid role: youll be in the office 4 days a week while learning the ropes, transitioning to 3 days in the office and 2 days from home as you gain experience. If you prefer working from the office full-time, thats an option too. What skills do I need? * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail * Resilience, determination, and a positive attitude * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Tech-savvy Youll receive comprehensive training and support to develop the skills necessary to succeed, reporting to our Head of Contract, who started as a trainee and, within five years, is leading our UK and European team. This role is part of one of our top-performing desks in the IT recruitment space, a core area for our company since 2010.
