Behaviour Support Inclusion Assistant - Graduate Opportunity Location: Slough Salary: £92.59 - £95 per day Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Long-term Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting children and helping them overcome barriers to learning? Academics is working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Slough that are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Inclusion Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting pupils with behavioural, social, emotional, and additional learning needs while making a meaningful difference in the classroom. As a Behaviour Support Inclusion Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional guidance to help them regulate their emotions, build positive relationships, and engage successfully in learning. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, social work, counselling, or behavioural support. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Promote positive behaviour and help pupils develop self-regulation strategies Support children in overcoming barriers to learning and participating fully in lessons Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals Encourage pupils' confidence, resilience, and social development Help create a safe, inclusive, and posit...
