Responsibilities As a Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer with leadership responsibilities, you will: * Deliver a high-quality CT and/or MRI imaging service, ensuring patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes. * Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the imaging department. * Act as deputy to the Imaging Manager, stepping in to lead the team in their absence. * Supervise, mentor, and develop radiographers, helpers, and students to maintain exceptional standards. * Lead by example, embedding Spire’s values and driving a culture of continuous improvement. * Oversee equipment checks, compliance with safety regulations, and support audit and quality assurance processes. * Support service planning and innovation, helping the department to meet patient and business needs. Qualifications * Diploma or Degree in Radiography with HCPC registration. * Proven experience as a Radiographer in an imaging department with CT and/or MRI expertise. * Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development. * Demonstratable strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to deputise for senior management. * Previous experience in a team lead/ managerial role * Experience in private healthcare. * Involvement in audits, clinical governance, or service development. * MRI Cardiac Scanning experience.
