Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bridport that is looking to appoint a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN Hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing, well-resourced learning environment. You'll work alongside experienced teaching staff and the SENCO to provide tailored support that enables every child to reach their full potential.
The Role
- Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant
- Based within the school's dedicated SEN Hub
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team
- Delivering targeted interventions and adapting learning activities where required
- Promoting independence, confidence, and positive engagement
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous SEN experience, or experience in a similar childcare, education, or support role
- Is patient, caring, and resilient
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with children
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
- Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
