A leading healthcare provider in Plymouth is seeking a dedicated Band 6 Audiologist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality adult audiology services, diagnosing and managing a wide range of hearing conditions. Key Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive adult audiology assessments, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometry.Diagnosing hearing loss and other auditory conditions.Fitting and maintaining hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.Offering counselling and advice to patients regarding hearing loss and available management options.Developing individualized care plans and maintaining accurate clinical records.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.Participating in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in audiology. Skills and Qualifications: HCPC registered Audiologist with a relevant qualification in Audiology.Experience in adult audiology services, including diagnosis and management of hearing loss.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using audiological equipment and systems.A patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.A commitment to professional development and staying updated with advancements in the field.
