Estimator Location: Colchester, Essex Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 39.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm About the Role Adecco is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in Colchester for an Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a busy commercial team within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing customer enquiries, interpreting technical and architectural information, and producing accurate quotations, pricing schedules, and production plans. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed estimates, quotations, and production schedules. Analyse customer enquiries to ensure timely and accurate quote generation. Interpret architectural drawings and create project schedules. Develop and verify pricing schedules and specifications. Review technical details against relevant requirements. Work closely with sales, project, planning, purchasing, and production teams. Liaise regularly with customers regarding quotations, project requirements, and delivery schedules.
