Job description
Outreach SEND/SEMH Tutors - Ledbury & Surrounding Areas Start Date: September 2026 Please note: Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for these opportunities. Quantum Scholars is proud to have been approved onto Herefordshire Council's Alternative Provision Framework and is preparing for a significant increase in learner referrals across Ledbury and the surrounding areas from September 2026. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Outreach Tutors to provide one-to-one support for children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education due to a range of additional needs. About the Learners The young people we support may have: SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Anxiety and other mental health needs Trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) Medical needs Behavioural challenges Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) The Role As an Outreach Tutor, you will deliver personalised, face-to-face learning and mentoring sessions that are tailored to each learner's individual needs. This may include: One-to-one tuition across core or specialist subjects SEND and SEMH interventions Academic, social and emotional support EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than At School) provision Alternative Provision support Confidence-b...
