HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Driver Hourly rate: Between £22.41 to £24.41 per hour (This is an assignment rate via our FCSA approved umbrella company on a PAYE basis) Oue new client who are well established and based in Walsall, are urgently seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Container Driver As a HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Container Driver your duties will include: Collect and deliver shipping containers to and from UK ports and customer locations. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time. Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and electronic records. Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding schedules and any delays. Provide excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points. The ideal Category C+E Driver will have the following: Valid UK HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E driving licence Valid Driver CPC card Digital Tachograph Card. Previous container driving experience is essential Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation and drivers' hours regulations. A professional, reliable, and flexible attitude.
