When your expertise shapes how care is delivered, every decision matters. Every patient interaction matters even more. As a Lead Physiologist at The Harley Street Clinic, you’ll combine advanced clinical practice with team leadership, helping to guide a highly skilled physiology service while staying close to the patient care that makes your work meaningful.

You’ll join a well-established cardiology and respiratory team known for its strong collaboration, high retention, and supportive culture. With access to the latest technology, including state of the art Cath Labs and advanced systems, you’ll play a key role in delivering specialist investigations while developing both people and services around you. This is a role where your judgement, leadership and expertise are trusted and valued every day.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.

What you’ll do
As a Lead Physiologist, you’ll take ownership of a specialist area while supporting the wider physiology service

  • Lead and support a team of physiologists, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment
  • Perform and interpret a wide range of advanced cardiac and respiratory investigations, acting at independent practitioner level
  • Provide expert clinical insight to multidisciplinary teams, contributing to patient diagnosis and care planning
  • Ensure high standards of quality, safety and governance across all procedures and equipment
  • Support service development, audit activity and the ongoing improvement of clinical practice

What you’ll bring
You’ll be an experienced physiologist ready to lead, with strong clinical expertise and a collaborative approach

  • Accreditation in a recognised clinical physiology discipline such as BSE, IBHRE, ARTP or SCST
  • Proven experience working at an advanced level within a cardiac or respiratory physiology setting
  • Experience leading, mentoring or supervising colleagues within a clinical team
  • Confidence interpreting complex clinical data and communicating findings clearly
  • A proactive and organised approach, with a focus on quality, safety and patient centred care

What you can expect from us
Working at The Harley Street Clinic means being part of a specialist environment where innovation and collaboration come together

  • Exposure to advanced technologies including new Cath Labs and innovative cardiac procedures
  • Opportunities for development through in house training and attendance at professional conferences
  • Clear pathways into further leadership and management roles
  • A supportive team culture with strong retention and a focus on collaboration
  • On call opportunities and varied working patterns to support service delivery
