Quality Inspector / QC Engineer (Civils) Reading | £50 per hour | Outside IR35 (assessment dependent) | Contract until December 2026 Are you an experienced Quality Inspector or QC Engineer with a strong civils background and active SC Clearance? We're recruiting for a long-term opportunity on a major UK infrastructure programme in Reading. This is a site-based role working on a high-profile project, offering long-term stability through to December 2026 and a competitive £50/hour rate. The Role You'll play a key role in ensuring quality standards are met across complex civil construction activities, carrying out inspections and supporting the successful delivery of the project. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing and accepting procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements. Conducting quality inspections against approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Reviewing and accepting Lifetime Quality Records (LTRs). Witnessing tests and carrying out on-site inspections. Attending quality and project meetings as required. Inspecting works against approved detailed designs and engineering drawings. Supporting civil construction activities including reinforced concrete and structural steel installations.
