Role descriptionOur UK Resilience Water team are looking for experienced Principal / Senior Process Engineers to grow our Design & Engineering team. An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide Optioneering, Outline and Detailed design inputs for Frameworks across UK Water Companies, alongside major large scale Design & Build projects with our Contractor Partners, covering diverse and technically demanding and stimulating projects in treatment process engineering. Our Resilience GBA works to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.Role accountabilitiesLiaison with clients to understand their specific requirementsPreparation of outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction-Ready documentationInputs to the development of Feasibility level design and Optioneering assessmentsPreparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables, including outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction-Ready documentationLiaison with contractors, the supply chain and other project stakeholdersMentoring and supporting the development of less experienced members of staffQualifications & ExperienceDegree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative qualificationChartered membership of an appropriate Professional body (IChemE or CIWEM)Strong technical design experience on multi-disciplinary projectsGood working knowledge and understanding of Water Industry Clients and ContractorsGood motivation, influencing and people management skillsKnowledge and experience of BIM led design and other process specific digital toolsGood working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water SpecificationsOur Commitment to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & BelongingWe want you to be able to bring your best self to work every day which is why we take equality and inclusion seriously and hold ourselves to account for our actions.
