Pay Rate: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

The successful candidate will be able to deliver purposeful lessons, establish clear expectations, and adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across different abilities. This role offers the chance to contribute to both academic progress and the wider development of young people.

As a Secondary School Teacher, you will take responsibility for effective lesson delivery, assessment, classroom routines, and maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.

Secondary School Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire active participation and academic progress
• Use questioning and assessment strategies to check understanding throughout lessons
• Set appropriate challenges for pupils with different levels of attainment
• Establish consistent routines that promote focus, respect, and responsibility
• Review pupils’ work and provide constructive feedback that supports improvement
• Share relevant progress and pastoral concerns with colleagues when necessary
• Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and wider school activities

Secondary School Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
• Relevant teaching experience within a secondary school environment
• Secure knowledge of the curriculum within your specialist subject
• Ability to respond effectively to different learning needs and classroom situations
• Sound judgement, professional conduct, and dependable organisational skills
• Willingness to contribute positively to school and departmental priorities
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
