The same two vets who unlocked the practice on that very first morning are still here today, alongside the Head Nurse who stood with them from the start. Over the years, the team has grown around them — partners, children, friends, and colleagues who care for one another as thoughtfully as they care for their patients. Today, Vet on the Hill is a thriving, modern small animal practice in Caterham, Surrey. The Role As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. Working Pattern * 40 hours per week * 4 days per week * 1 in 4 Saturdays * Open to flexible or part-time hours * No overnight emergency cover Your day‑to‑day will include: * Anaesthetic and sedation monitoring * Running nurse clinics * Delivering high standards of inpatient and post‑operative care * Managing patient admissions and discharges * Stock management and maintaining clinical protocols * Supporting reception duties and contributing to a team focused on continuous improvement You Might Be a Great Fit If...
