The role is responsible for designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining fire alarm and suppression systems. They play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of buildings and their occupants Key Responsibilities – Fire Systems Installation Engineer Conduct site surveys and fire risk assessments to determine system requirements. Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm and fire suppression systems across commercial and industrial sites. Carry out cabling, wiring, testing, and fault-finding activities in line with industry standards and regulations. Program, configure, and commission fire alarm control panels and associated equipment. Perform planned preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and system upgrades. Diagnose and rectify system faults, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Ensure all installations and servicing activities comply with relevant fire safety legislation and British Standards. Produce accurate documentation, maintenance records, test certificates, and job reports. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, responding to queries and resolving issues professionally.
