Electrical Assembly Technician Permanent role Based in Ampthill Offering up to £40,000 Do you have an awareness of IPC-620 and J-STD-001 standards? You will be involved in: Assemble, terminate, and inspect cable harnesses, wiring looms, and electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications Perform wire preparation tasks including crimping, soldering, connector assembly, lacing, bundling, and harness dressing to military and customer-defined standards Install heat shrink tubing, backshells, strain reliefs, shielding, and identification markers in line with build documentation Conduct in-process self-inspection and quality verification throughout assembly Carry out electrical testing including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing using approved equipment Maintain full traceability and accurately complete all manufacturing and quality records Identify no...
