Closing Room Fitter Required - Northampton
Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Closing Room Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Northampton, NN1.
This is a skilled role within the shoe manufacturing process, focusing on the precise gluing and fitting of the bottom of shoes. The role requires excellent attention to detail, accuracy and previous experience within shoe manufacturing.
The Role
As a Closing Room Fitter, your duties may include:
Gluing and fitting the bottom of shoes accurately
Working carefully to ensure a high-quality finish
Following production and quality standards
Checking work throughout the manufacturing process
Handling materials and components with care
Supporting the wider Closing Room team
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area
Following all health and safety procedures
