TheSenior Joint Venture (JV) Account Manager is a pivotal role within the UK Offshore Renewables Business reporting to the EA Hub Asset Manager.
This position istoassistthe EA Hub Asset Manager to manageintercompany agreements with JVsensuring thefulfilmentof contractobligationsas a Service ProviderTheywill be a key contact for JV partnersand willassistin the associated governance processes for the operational assets.Working closely with the rest of the Operations and Maintenance team to ensure they are aware of all key activities within the operational windfarmsensuring this is correctly messaged to JVpartners.
The role also involvesmanagingthecontractual and commercial risks seeking opportunities to enhanceintercompanycontract performance and collaborating closely with teams from Construction Operations Legal InsuranceandFinance.
Whatyoullbe doing
Assistin ensuring all reporting obligations for JV partners and boards are met (operational updatesHSEQ performance and financial reporting).
Hold regular business update meetings with the JV partner and address any queries.
Assistin preparing the annualoperationalbudget for board approvals and any ad hoc increases.
Daily interface with site team to understand the key activities within the windfarm.
Understandthe HSEQstrategythat has been defined by site teamand oversee delivery of initiatives through to completion. Report feedbackto partners.
Interface with internalstakeholders and responsible to improve cross department relationships.
Steering projects to improve performance and reduce CAPEX/OPEX.
Provide proactively recommendations and advice on managementof intercompany agreements.
Provide to the O&M management team analysisregardingbenchmark and operational results.
Managing claims andcontractvariations from partners.
Work with the rest of the Asset Management Team to ensure that comprehensive analysis of all financial and non-financial business performance can be prepared and communicated both internally and externally.
Requirement for travel around UK & other European destinations to attend meetings and visit sites
Whatyoullbring
Degree level qualificationor experienced Asset Manager with a demonstrated history of working within JV and Asset Management in the renewables sector (other relevant experience will be considered)
High levelof commercial awareness with a good understanding of the renewables business
Detailed knowledge of renewables projects economics and financing requirements
Ability to combine professional and commercialexpertiseand co-ordinate the skills of others to achieve successful results.
Significant experiencein managing and developing stakeholder relationships (with engineering and/or contract management experience)
Delivery focus andhigh levelof resilience to deal with the continually changing demands and time-pressures of the role
Good practical knowledge of IT applications / systems including SAP
