Bauhaus Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers for ongoing projects within the education sector across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking for long-term, consistent work carrying out structured cabling installations in schools, colleges and universities.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A structured cabling.
• Terminating and testing copper cabling.
• Installation of containment including trunking, basket and conduit where required.
• Cabinet build, patch panel installation and patching.
• Labelling and documenting completed work.
• Working safely within live educational environments while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Data Cabling Engineer.
• ECS or CSCS card.
• Own hand tools and testing equipment (preferred).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
