Quality Engineer Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: Coventry
Hourly Rate: £27.12 per hour
Duration: 6 moths with extension or offer of a permanent contract.
An established aerospace manufacturing business is seeking a Quality Engineer to support product quality, compliance, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction across a high-performance production environment.
This is a hands-on manufacturing quality role focused on AS9100 compliance, root cause analysis, APQP and defect reduction within a regulated aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support manufacturing and production quality activities across the value stream
Conduct audits to AS9100, ISO9001 and aerospace quality standards
Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why and corrective action methodologies
Drive continuous improvement, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives
Support APQP, PFMEA, DFMEA, PPAP and Control Plans
Review First Article Inspection documentation to AS9102
Monitor supplier quality and manufacturing quality performance metrics
Work closely with engineering, operations and customers to resolve quality issues
