About the Role
AVTAV is recruiting Loaders on behalf of a busy airport catering and inflight services operation based in Braintree.
This is a physically demanding role involving the loading, unloading and movement of aircraft catering equipment, meals, beverages and other inflight supplies. You will play an important part in ensuring catering vehicles are loaded accurately and dispatched on time to support airport operations.
Role Responsibilities
The role may include:
Loading and unloading catering equipment, meals, beverages and inflight supplies onto vehicles.
Safely lifting and moving catering carts, containers and other equipment.
Preparing and loading orders for delivery to the airport in accordance with schedules.
Checking goods against loading documentation to ensure accuracy.
Securing loads to prevent damage during transportation.
Assisting with unloading returned equipment and supplies.
Receiving, handling and storing incoming goods correctly.
Supporting stock movement and warehouse operations.
