We are a highly successful, independent family-run service, repair, and bodyshop centre with an outstanding local reputation. Operating from our modern, fully equipped facility, we handle everything from routine multi-brand servicing, Class 4 & 7 MOTs, and advanced diagnostics to specialized EV/hybrid maintenance and full accident repairs. The Package
- Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year
- Holiday: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension: Company pension scheme
- Training: Ongoing professional training pathways (happy to support with qualifications including MOT licence, Electric & Hybrid, Air Con, and Bodyshop / Smart Repair skills)
- Parking: Free on-site parking
- Hours: Worked on a rota basis
What You'll Be Doing
In this hands-on workshop role, you will work across an exceptionally diverse lineup of cars, vans, and modern electric/hybrid vehicles. Every day brings a massive mix of mechanical repairs, technical diagnostics, and bodyshop cross-over tasks, making it an exciting and dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and high-quality mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Diagnosing complex vehicle faults efficiently using up-to-date diagnostic software and equipment.
- Performing comprehensive safety inspections, health checks, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Maintaining precise records of work completed and communicating effectively with the front desk regarding parts and timelines.
- Collaborating with a friendly, professional, and close-knit crew of technicians to minimize vehicle turnaround times.
What We Are Looking For
- No formal qualifications required—we value proven workshop experience, confidence on the tools, and strong mechanical know-how above anything else.
- Solid experience in vehicle servicing, general mechanical repairs, and fault diagnosis (experience with LCVs/vans or hybrid/EV systems is a plus but not essential).
- A proactive team player with excellent time-management skills and a commitment to high workmanship standards.
- The adaptability to work efficiently across various vehicle makes, models, and systems.
