Community Occupational Therapist – Moving & Handling Team Job Title: Community Occupational Therapist – Moving & Handling Team Specialism: Occupational Therapy – Moving & Handling Location: Macclesfield, UK Salary: Up to £35 per hour Type: Full-time (3 months) This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Community Occupational Therapist with expertise in Moving and Handling to join our dynamic team in Macclesfield for a contract of 3 months. Offering up to £35 per hour, this full-time role will see you engaging with the community, working with both children and adults to improve their quality of life and independence. What you will do: * Engage with the community as a dedicated Occupational Therapist, specialising in Moving and Handling as well as working with Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) and Blue Badges. * Conduct regular visits to clients’ homes and attend the office for meetings to ensure the continuity and quality of care. * Utilise your comprehensive training in moving and handling to support and advise clients effectively. * Work collaboratively with a team of professionals, bringing your expertise and flexibility to contribute to the team’s success. Requirements: This role requires you to have up-to-date moving and handling training, and you must be willing to visit clients regularly and attend office meetings. Being a team player is key, as is flexibility to adapt to the varied needs of the community. A driving licence is essential, as you will be required to travel within Macclesfield.
