We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Manager to lead the companys public engagement and communications across the UK. Acting as the companys official external representative, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with government bodies, retail partners, industry organisations and the media, while overseeing public relations, corporate reputation and external communications. The role will play a key part in strengthening the companys brand reputation, credibility, and long‑term presence in the UK market. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the companys primary external representative in the UK, developing and maintaining strong relationships with government departments, public authorities and industry associations to establish effective and trusted communication channels. * Build and manage strategic relationships with major retailers, supermarket chains and other commercial partners, providing support on stakeholder engagement and resolving external partnership issues where required. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and trade media. Coordinating media interviews, press releases, proactive communications, and day‑to‑day media engagement. * Lead the companys external communications strategy in the UK, planning and delivering corporate communications initiatives, brand campaigns and reputation‑building activities to enhance public perception and brand awareness. * Monitor media coverage, public sentiment and industry developments, proactively identifying reputational risks and leading crisis communications and issues management when required. * Develop and maintain a high‑quality network of external stakeholders, including government contacts, media representatives, retail partners and relevant organisations, supporting the companys long‑term growth and localisation strategy in the UK. Requirements * Built career in the UK with a strong understanding of the UKs political, media and commercial landscape. Together with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior external stakeholders. Must have the full legal right to work full-time in the UK. * Bachelors degree or above, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies or a related discipline. * 8+ years experience in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Corporate Communications or External Affairs, with proven experience managing government engagement, media relations and external stakeholder relationships within the UK. * Strong understanding of UK public relations and corporate communications practices, with demonstrated experience in reputation management, media engagement, issues management and crisis communications. * Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the confidence and credibility to represent the company externally at senior levels. * An established network across the UK government, media, and major retail organisations would be highly preferred.
