Job description
Job Title: Business Studies Teacher Location: Leicester Salary: £175-£255 (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience) Job Type: Term Time Only Start Date: New Term Start Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Business Studies to join a supportive secondary school in Leicester starting in the new school term. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching career within a welcoming and well-resourced department, with access to strong mentoring and professional development. The successful candidate will be passionate about Business Studies and committed to delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and an understanding of the modern business world. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Support students in developing knowledge and understanding of key business concepts and real-world applications Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and participation Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development Participate fully in wider school life and enrichment opportunitiesRequirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending successful completion of teacher training Degr...
