  • Develop individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Provide education, guidance and emotional support to families managing complex neurodisabilities or receiving a new diagnosis.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centred care.
  • Deliver teaching and training to colleagues and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of paediatric neuropsychology services.
  • Liaise with consultants, community teams and external organisations to support integrated care pathways.
  • Maintain high standards of professional, ethical and legal practice at all times.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about.

What you'll bring
  • DClinPsy, EdPsy or recognised Statement of Equivalence.
  • Paediatric Neuropsychology qualification from a BPS-approved provider, or substantial experience in paediatric neuropsychology, neurological rehabilitation and/or acquired brain injury services.
  • Extensive experience working with children and young people with complex neurological conditions.
  • QICN qualification (desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention.
  • Excellent understanding of a variety of therapeutic approaches and the ability to adapt interventions to meet individual needs.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage children, families and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven experience of collaborative multidisciplinary team working.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological care.
  • Ability to work in accordance with professional, ethical and legal standards.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in team meetings, training and service development activities.
