The Opportunity
We are supporting our client in appointing an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join their Financial & Economic Crime Reporting Unit.

This role will suit someone with strong AML knowledge who enjoys client due diligence risk-based analysis and working closely with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify client and related-party identification using trusted sources and electronic platforms.
  • Complete screening for PEPs sanctions adverse media and other risk indicators.
  • Review ownership structures client activity source of funds and source of wealth information.
  • Document AML research analysis and decisions clearly for audit purposes.
  • Assess CDD information and escalate higher-risk matters where required.
  • Support AML monitoring reporting and wider compliance projects.


Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience

  • Working knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations and LSAG guidance.
  • AML CDD or financial crime experience ideally gained in legal or professional services.
  • Experience using electronic verification tools and AML systems.
  • Strong organisation accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator able to build effective internal relationships.
  • Proactive collaborative approach with good Microsoft Office skills.
