  • A specific in-depth knowledge and recent experience in the design, development, integration and qualification of avionics systems (civil or military)
  • A knowledge and appreciation of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle
  • Experience of avionics interface protocols, e.g. ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553B, Ethernet/AFDX
  • Experience of creating and editing systems documentation

Advantageous in this role are:

  • Experience of integration, qualification and certification of the latest Cockpit Display, Communications, Navigation, Mission or Armament systems.

  • Experience in the development of avionics system architectures.
  • Knowledge and experience of the challenges associated with uncrewed systems.

This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
