PSM Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or dispatch supervisory experience who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards and ensuring customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
The Role
As Dispatch Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the dispatch department, ensuring deliveries leave on schedule while maintaining excellent quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leading, motivating and supporting the dispatch team
Planning and prioritising workloads to meet daily dispatch targets
Ensuring accurate stock control, booking of goods and completion of dispatch documentation
Safely operating forklifts, pallet trucks and narrow aisle reach trucks
Maintaining high standards of quality, organisation and housekeeping
Ensuring Health & Safety and company procedures are followed at all times
