Health & Social Care Teacher - Secondary School - Coventry (September Start) Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • Health & Social Care Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level Health & Social Care (KS4/5) • Coventry • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full Time Health & Social Care Teacher Health & Social Care Teacher You would be joining a successful vocational department where Health & Social Care is a popular subject with excellent student outcomes and growing Sixth Form participation. The department is committed to preparing students for careers within healthcare, education, social work and the wider care sector through a curriculum that combines academic knowledge with real-life application. Students study a broad range of topics including human lifespan development, health promotion, communication, safeguarding, equality and person-centred care. Lessons are engaging, discussion-based and designed to help students develop analytical, evaluative and independent learning skills while preparing thoroughly for external assessments. The department works closely with local healthcare providers, universities and employers to provide students with enrichment opportunities including guest speakers, career workshops and employer engagement activities. Teachers collaborate regularly to develop innovative teaching resources and share best practice across the department. The school provides a supportive environment where every member of staff is encouraged to develop professionally through high-quality CPD, mentoring and opportunities for career progression.
