About the Role The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that develop creativity, technical expertise, and critical thinking. Students study a broad curriculum including Product Design, Resistant Materials, engineering principles, sustainable design, materials technology, and modern manufacturing processes. You will guide learners through the complete design process, from research and concept generation to prototyping, manufacture, testing, and evaluation, preparing them for GCSE and A-Level Design & Technology qualifications. You will also contribute to the department's extensive programme of STEM enrichment, design competitions, employer engagement projects, and extracurricular clubs that encourage students to apply their learning in real-world contexts.
